Alexandria is in North Glengarry, home to the Glengarry Highland Games - tartans, pipes and drums, men in skirts, and rumours of a certain amount of alcohol consumption (sounds a little like Peel Street in Montreal, but different). Just kidding, large Scottish gentlemen!

Alexandria also has the Mill Pond, offering picnic facilities, and swimming, ans is the site of the Seaway Valley's largest Canada Day celebrations. Festival Alexandria is a chamber music series held Sundays throughout the summer.
