You need a plan for success; my free business plan template can help

You can do anything on your small property, but you can't do everything. And the best thing to do is the right thing, at any given time. But how do you know what the right thing is?

Here's what a good plan can do for you:

  1. Improve your focus;
  2. Set a vision for future success;
  3. Help you manage and market your business;
  4. Make the best use of your time; and,
  5. Grow your farm business and profits to their full potential.

This is how you know the 'right thing' to do. You can also read the above graphic from right to left. Tasks and projects that contribute to goals which in turn support your mission and vision, are the RIGHT THINGS.

But you gotta write it down!

There's more than one way to go about defining your vision, mission and goals (although I do have a favourite approach). But the thing they have in common is... you have to capture the information to set priorities and guide decision making. A template can help that process.

My business plan template is a way to succinctly capture the main elements of your business.

You can use the template for brainstorming and documenting your 'plan for success' for your small farm business.
