I have never grown pole beans. Would like to try pole beans. do pole beans have the same taste quality? They would pick much easier. ANSWER Hi Barry, yes, pole beans taste great; in fact many people (including me) think they have more real 'bean taste' than bush beans. You will need a tall, strong trellis - I use 8-foot t-posts, wire, and nylon mesh netting. Pole beans plants tend to dry out faster than bush beans, so make sure you water them regularly. Scott |
